FSPA 2010 Contests Listings
Contest Rules
Please read these rules carefully and follow all directions.
Any violations will be disqualified.
1. Any poem submitted must:
a) be the original work of the contestant
b) unpublished in any form
c) not have won more than $10 in any contest
d) be written in English
e) be titled unless a sijo or haiku
f) have a 40-line limit unless stated otherwise
2. The same person must not be entered in more than one category. Categories 1 & 2 are limited to 2 entries per poet. Categories 3 through 25 are limited to one entry per poet.
3. FORMAT: Typed, single-spaced on one side of 8 1/2 x 11" white paper. No illustrations. Submit two copies; category number and name on BOTH copies on the upper left. Poet's name and address on duplicate copy only on upper right. Mail all entries together with check made out to FSPA Inc., using regular first class mail.
4. FEES: All poets pay $2 each for Categories 1 and 2. All other categories, poets pay $1 each. Category 3 is free to FSPA members only..... all other must pay $1.
5. PAYMENT: All checks and money orders should be made payable to FSPA Inc. No cash please.
